Syrian made a comeback after 5 years of no album releases (they released a few things after Death of a Sun but not a full album) and I will say: If you're a fan of their album "Alien Nation", then this will, for the most part, be a home-run to you I think :)

See, they revisited that type of sound with this album. it has a nice and gritty sound to it, comparable to their Helium / Future Storm / Supernova tracks from Alien Nation and Kosmonauta, respectively. Here's a summary of every track, or rather, what I think of each one:

1 - We Are Stars: Not a great track, and is a bit generic. The lyrics are very basic and are uninspired. I can see this one having moderate success at a club or something, but other than that? Not too good... It's very uplifting, though. 6.5 out of 10

2 - Vectorial Trace: This track has some serious "Alien Nation" vibes to it. Very spooky, and it's very good. I especially like the female "ooh" vocals heard throughout! 9 out of 10

3 - Distance: This is probably the best song on the album, hands-down. I enjoy this one from start to finish. It's also quite like an Alien Nation track... The chorus and end part is really good especially. 10 out of 10

4 - Ecstasy: This track is, again, a home-run to me. This is an incredible rework of a track which was previously released on a limited edition of an album by the band "Virtual Server", on their album, "Setup". On CD 2 it has a track named "My Dimension". The key is much lower and it's more spooky than what is heard here. Anyways: This track, from what I've heard, was written by Andylab (the guy who sings in 99% of the songs released by them), and the lyrics are a lot like a song he also wrote, called "The Night Sky". The suspenseful part after he says "Ecstasy" is a bit out of place... 8 out of 10

5 - Underwater: Not very good, admittedly! I really don't like this track. It's just strange and odd to hear someone other than Andy... It almost breaks the immersion. You hear Andy throughout the whole album, and then you hear a female vocalist... The music is fairly generic, too... A filler, in my book! 4 out of 10

6 - Into The Fire: Very good track. There's one thing you need to keep in mind about this song: This track started off completely different when it was first written by Voyager (the composer). It was, at that point, called "Into The Blue" and was an upbeat pop track. 2 demo mixes were made, and both are very different from each other... The only things the 2 have in common are some of the melodies and the chorus bits. Anyways: One part of this song was from Into The Blue (demo 2) - in ITB demo 2 the first verse is "Ready for takeoff the starlight awaits". This song has that same lyric. Other than that, everything is brand new and redone! It's a pretty good track overall. A bit dark for my tastes, but I do enjoy it! 9 out of 10

7 - Close Your Eyes: I really don't like this one. Way too creepy! The whispery and suspenseful voice is just really unsettling... The music is the same way. Compliments his voice and drives the "scary" point home well... I won't let this affect my rating though as it's a solid song if you like this type of music, so... 6 out of 10

8 - Hyperdrive: The worst track on the album. Easily! It's very basic and isn't that good. Definitely a filler track if I've ever seen one on an album... I feel as if they were in a rush to get the album done and they plopped this one in as the last track just so it's 8 tracks... Sorry, but I have to give it a 4 out of 10!

Overall score: 7.5 out of 10 is my final score.

It isn't their best album, but it is most definitely a solid entry and worth a listen if you like their previous material to any extent. You won't be disappointed.
