Hutti Heita' have been making a name for themselves after playing on the bigger festivals like Lost Theory and Freqs of Nature during the past years. Even though they didn't have much released tracks yet, I knew quite some trancers who were totally into their music. From the beginning of the album it is made clear what they want to bring: no-nonsense and straight forward trance music. The percussion works are carefully placed, undergo the right changes at the exact right time and the basslines are relentless and varied throughout the album

Global Progression
Here is the long awaited next release by Yggdrasil Records, a label that is definetely going for quality over quantity. It's the first artist album released on their label, by one of their most active projects. 'Hutti Heita' have been making a name for themselves after playing on the bigger festivals like Lost Theory and Freqs of Nature during the past years. Even though they didn't have much released tracks yet, I knew quite some trancers who were totally into their music. Myself I didn't really get into their tracks when playing them at home, but when I heard the artists live it was a totally new experience. I expected this album to be more like their previous tracks and night time sets I heard, but what it turned out to be might be even better.

From the beginning of the album it is made clear what they want to bring: no-nonsense and straight forward trance music. The percussion works are carefully placed, undergo the right changes at the exact right time and the basslines are relentless (and varied throughout the album). This is an album that you won't quickly put in your home stereo to listen to on a soft volume, but it will work wonders on the dancefloor where you can open up to every detail. Where the "Forest Trance" genre is mostly hard and intense, Hutti Heitta is bringing us a more progressive and subtle approach to it and the amount of detail that went into tweaking the sounds is out of this world. For me this is the most unique Psytrance album in years. Every track has its own unique atmosphere, and some of the melodies were stuck in my head even after the first listen. Some tracks even had me driving around the block a few times after reaching my destination... :) The only downside of this album might be that every track is going straight forward and there are no important "upgoing / climaxing" moments in it. But it's still "less is more" Psytrance music at its best. 5/5
