Notas

Not all the mix names are noted on the back sleeve (such as the many 7" mixes on disc one), but they are denoted as such in the booklet.

Tracks 1-11, 1-14, 1-16, 2-1, 2-2, 2-4, 2-5, 2-7, 2-9 to 2-14 have been mastered from lossy sources.

Also, some mixes are wrongly specified:
- "Wasted" is not an extended version, but the regular album version.
- "The Day Before You Came" is the album version, not the 7" remix.
- "Lose Your Love" is the original album version without the complete intro. The original CD version of "Believe You Me" contained the remix by John Luongo.

Blue World was a project by Stephen Luscombe in 1989.

Información

The Very Best Of Blancmange 2012 is a double CD compilation of Blancmange singles, album and non-album tracks, and remixes from their first three albums. It contains one new track, Making Aeroplanes Without Victoria. All songs are written by Neil Arthur & Stephen Luscombe, except where noted. Living On The Ceiling 7 Mix 4:03. Don't Tell Me 7 Mix 3:32. I Can't Explain 4:02. Feel Me 7 Mix 5:06. Blind Vision 3:59. Waves 7 Mix 4:09. Songs in album Blancmange - The Very Best Of Blancmange CD1 2012. Given a choice between 1996's The Best of Blancmange and 1990's Second Helpings: The Best of Blancmange, it's more or less advisable to simply toss a coin. All 12 songs including all of Blancmange's singles from Second Helpings are here, along with five other tracks. The extra tracks are mostly B-sides and rarities along the lines of 1984's Vishnu, an attractive but not essential dance tune with Indian accents similar to the Middle Eastern vibe of 1982's excellent Living on the Ceiling. Also, some mixes are wrongly specified: - Wasted is not an extended version, but the regular album version. The Day Before You Came is the album version, not the 7 remix. Lose Your Love is the original album version without the complete intro. The original CD version of Believe You Me contained the remix by John Luongo. Blue World 2 was a project by Stephen Luscombe in 1989. Features Song Lyrics for Blancmange's The Very Best of Blancmange album. Blancmange - The Very Best of Blancmange Album Lyrics. Living on the Ceiling 7 mix Lyrics. Listen free to Blancmange The Very Best Of Blancmange Living On The Ceiling, Don't Tell Me 7 mix and more. 34 tracks 157:16. The rest of the disc contains 12 mixes of Blind Vision, Don't Tell Me, Feel Me, That's Love That It Is, God's Kitchen, Living On The Ceiling, and b-sidesmisc. songs - Running Thin, Vishnu, Hello Darling Blue World, I Would, and Making Aeroplanes. Blancmange from United Kingdom. The top ranked albums by Blancmange are Happy Families, Mange Tout and Happy Families Too. Like a virgin, touched for the very first time - Madonna. Is the 7" mix of I've Seen The Word actually any different from the album version?

kaleidophonics Which tracks are specifically sourced from MP3s? Could you list them and how you determined this? Many of us would like to know. Thanks! Unfortunately what adylee writes is true. These tracks are sourced form MPEG. CD 1 Tracks 11, 14 & 16 CD 2, where most of the rare stuff is, fares the worst with the majority of tracks sourced from MPEG, they are tracks 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9-14.

Track 1-7 "The Day Before You Came" is not the single version, it is the original vinyl LP version with the "Coronation Street" theme appearing after the reference to "Dallas". "Wasted" is not an extended version. "Lose Your Love" is the single version. "Game Above My Head" is not the proper 12" version, it's the alternate long version that first appeared (to my knowledge anyway) on the 2008 reissue of "Mange Tout".

The mix of "Game Above My Head" is the version from the U.S. 12" of "That's Love, That It Is" which is also where track 2-5 is originally from.
